fighting literally until death, until their gun was hit by a shell
or crushed by a tank Cpl. Wincenty Dziechciarz , (Polish Order of
the Virtuti Militari Recipient) an anti tank gun commander, alone
destroyed seven German tanks until he was killed by the
concentrated fire of three German tanks…"
